We have four 'Houses' at Whiteheath Junior School and children are grouped between each one to allow them to collect 'House Points' for their team; points are awarded for excellent school work, trying hard, helping others or showing a positive attitude towards all aspects of school life.
The House Captains are a boy and girl representative of each 'house', voted for by the children based on their own personal statements (presented in a whole school assembly!) of how they would best serve their fellow pupils. They are great role models and superb ambassadors for the school in the wider community.
