Welcome to Year 6

We aim to make the last year at Whiteheath a memorable time that pupils will remember for a long time after they leave. The highlight of the year is the residential trip to the Isle of Wight in July. From the sand castle competition to the roller coaster at Blackgang Chine, this is a great trip.

There is always a very full sports program. Educational topics include studying Mountains and Rivers of the world, The Struggle For England which includes the Vikings where we make Viking inspired soup, Pop Art and  Britain since the 1930’s when we often dress up for the day as evacuees!

In the Summer term, Year 6 pupils perform a drama production for parents; past spectaculars have included Grease, Annie and Mary Poppins!

All pupils participate in a range of leaving events which include the end of year performance, a barbeque and disco.
