WHITEHEATH JUNIOR SCHOOL PTA

Whiteheath School has a very informal PTA. There is an AGM at the start of each school year and the elected committee of parents and teachers meet once or twice a term.

In past years the PTA have organised school discos, Fireworks Evening, Quiz nights and Christmas and Summer Fayres.

With the money raised, children at the school have benefitted from a number of exciting projects including new books for the library, sports kits and equipment, new reading scheme, new adventure playground and props and costumes for school productions. The PTA also funds visiting theatre companies and treats for the children.

All the children at Whiteheath will benefit from fundraising carried out by the PTA and it is therefore essential that we encourage and welcome as many parents as possible to become involved with moving the PTA forward in the years ahead. We know our parents have many skills which could be invaluable, accounting, marketing, creativity or maybe just a good idea!
